This is my first venture into the themed crossword territory. I'm starting with a mini, naturally and someday I hope to make a full sized themed grid, and although it's a long shot, be published. That must be every cruciverbalist's yen, which incidentally can be a constructor's life-saving bit of crossword-ese in tight spaces

The Theme

The O's and X's of the puzzle are visually arranged to resemble a game of tic-tac-toe. The O's won, and I'm not sure how I feel about it
